Jennifer specializes in nursing home abuse and neglect cases. Jennifer grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She attended Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, and graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and History. While attending Trinity, she spent a semester in Seville, Spain, studying Spanish language and history. Jennifer moved back to New Mexico for law school and received her law degree from the University of New Mexico in 2000. During law school, Jennifer spent a summer studying law in Guanajuato, Mexico. She served as the Associate Managing Editor of the U.S. - Mexico Law Journal. At the Jessup International Moot Court competition, she was recognized as one of the top four oral advocates in the region. Upon her graduation from law school, Jennifer began working for the State Public Defender's Office. Before joining the Harvey Law Firm, Jennifer had already become a committed trial attorney. In her capacity as a public defender, Jennifer gained extensive, invaluable trial experience, trying over 12 jury trials and 50 bench trials. Jennifer is admitted to practice in the State of New Mexico. She is fluent in Spanish and conversant in French. She is a member of the National Citizens' Coalition for Nursing Home Reform, the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice (AAJ) and the AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group.
